FRIDAY ; DOI TUNG, DOI MAE SALONG & MAE CHAN HOTSPRINGS.

This excursion we go first to Doi Tung, The fower gardens and the Royal Villa.           The Royal Villa was built for the Queen's mother in celebration of her 90 birthday     After the Queens mother passed away, the Villa has opened his doors and                 beautiful gardens for visitors. Its a verry populair destination for Thai people          how traveling in the north.

DOI MAE SALONG :

One the way to Doi Mae Salong you will see some great mountain spots.                     When we arrive on the mountaintop Santi Khiri we overlooking the tea and fruit      plantations. This is the home of descendants of Chinese nationalist soldiers, how     fled to and settled in Thailand in 1940. There is a museum for KMT, where you can  learn what happened after they got kicked out of China.                                                  They escaped to Birma, bud they kicked out of Birma into Thailand, Where they       helped the Thai gouverment to faight against the communists for many years.       After wards they cultivate opium for many years, til the king of Thailand helped      then to change the opium plantations in to tea and coffee plantations.

MAE CHAN HOTSPRINGS :  One our way back to Chiang Rai we pass  MaeChan village here we will visited the hotsprings..........................................................
